Easter Altar
* Beloved Disciple is a small, independent catholic community providing weekly mass, social events, spiritual direction and pastoral care.

* We believe that all people are called by God to abundant living through spiritual growth. We encourage you to think for yourself and trust the wisdom of your heart.

* In the tradition of the Catholic Apostolic Church of Antioch, we revere the richness and beauty found in the catholic tradition, the seven sacraments and apostolic succession, and believe that these mysteries have great power for our own time.  We have great reverence for traditional scripture but are not afraid to question its meaning.  We believe that God still speaks through the prophets and mystics of every age. We welcome those who seek and those who question.

* Beloved Disciple believes that all are made in the image of God. We welcome you regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation or marital status.  In the Church of Antioch, all people are welcome to seek ordination.  Weddings and holy unions are offered to all.  Anyone sincerely called to receive the eucharist is most welcome in a spirit of hospitality.

*  In a busy and often frantic world, we believe that our liturgy provides a spiritual oasis.

*  It is contemplative.  There is time for meditation and silence.

*  We sing in a variety of styles from hymns and songs to Taize and Gregorian chants.

*  We hear readings from sacred scripture as well as from the great mystics of every age.

*  We strive to provide thought provoking homilies with themes that respect inclusiveness, justice and a spirituality that leads to greater health and wholeness.
